(From Kate Henderson Helber) From the Loker School production of “Bye Bye Birdie,” 1980. While clearly cameras have improved, you can figure out who some people are. Enjoy. Steve, I can only hope these bring back memories you love. It was hilarious if I recall, and fun.

Steve and Katie (Steve is the midget)

We cleverly changed the location of the show to “Wayland.”

Insert your own tagline here.

Brad A. as Birdie and, I think, Brad C. in the shades on lead guitar

Choreography consisted of us standing around a lot.

Curtain call. Steve, bowing, is now 3 feet tall.

I’ll just assume that’s a Photoshop trick.
Enjoy…………..G
Isn’t that the way they did all the hobbits in the Lord of the Rings movies?
Great photos, Kate!
Is that Kathy (York) Piel in the 2nd photo, far right?
And Steve….poor, poor Steve…..
I will try to dig through photos to post some from Claypit Hill’s 6th grade play, “H.M.S. Pinafore”. Gary, you must have some from then?
re: Insert your own tagline here
Steve (in squeaky doll voice): “MA-ma! MA-ma!”
(sorry, man)
I am speechless, I may have just found my new screensaver…………………
The lady in the 2nd photo is Mrs Carlton…and I am pretty sure..but in the last photo in the center of the cast, behind myself and Steve, I think is Brad in a dress. I do not recall the need for this costume requirement. Does anyone else remember the end of the play – did Birdie leave town in disguise?
Sorry about the blurriness of it all. But worth so much to see them now. And they are in my rotation of photos for a screen saver and my officemates think they are hilarious!
There are more – but Steve is holding out posting them….they are terrific.
I’m just pacing us. You see how often people post around here?
PS: That was not a costume. Brad just felt more comfortable dressing that way after the show was over.

Oh, God, no. Please, I pray you, do not reveal those. I shall have to crawl into a hole in shame.
